Stop by Blackfish Gallery, 420 N.W. Glisan, Portland, Oregon to see the LovePolitik exhibit if you are able! I am happy to have a work in the exhibit from my longstanding Arctic project, Thaw: An Arctic in Transition, and am happy to be showing along with many great artists including Paul Missal, Arvie Smith, and Angela Passalacqua. The exhibit is up through November 28, 2020, with in-person gallery hours of Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 12 – 5 pm. The exhibit is also viewable online.
Have just departed the Portland Grid Project, after photographing for it every month since January 2018! The project is a group of 12 photographers that photograph a different one-square grid of Portland each month. It was a joy to work on. The other photographers are great. I enjoyed getting to know them. Plan to work more on my personal art projects coming up but am happy to have helped document my adopted city, Portland, that I love, for the past 26 months. A link to…
