You are cordially invited to an opening reception this Saturday, September 17th, from 1 – 3 pm, at the Center Gallery of the Multnomah Arts Center, for an exhibit of my most longstanding project, The Visitor, Walking 1000 Miles through Mexico, a 40-Year Retrospective. The Multnomah Arts Center is at 7688 SW Capitol Highway, Portland, OR 97219. There will be refreshments, premier of a new short film, a book signing, and a poetry reading by Walt Curtis, host of the poetry program the Talking Earth on KBOO radio, Portland, for more than 45 years. Walt has performed with Ken Kesey, Allen Ginsberg, and William S. Burroughes, and is the author of the novella Mala Noche, subject of the first feature film by noted film-maker Gus Van Sant.
If you can not make the opening, the exhibit will be up from September 16 – October 22, 2022. Gallery hours are: Monday through Thursday, 9 am – 930 pm, and Friday and Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm. The reception and visiting the gallery are free to the public. Stop by if you can – hope to see you there!
