Was invited to join the Portland Grid Project in January and have been enjoying participating in it since then. We are a group of area photographers who document the City of Portland as it changes, photographing one discrete area, based on a map grid, of the City each month. The total of 98 map grids cover all areas of the City. The other ten current photographers for the Project are all great, good photographers and good people. We meet normally once a month to view each others photographs, which is always fun. The Project was started in 1995 by Chris Rauschenberg and has been ongoing since then! May add a new section for the web site for some of these Grid Project pictures – stay tuned!
